KADDI MSDI PROGRAMS

The Keith & Associates Distance Dietetic Internship (KADDI) offers a comprehensive Master’s in Dietetic Internship (MSDI) program, allowing aspiring Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) to concurrently pursue a graduate degree and complete their supervised practice requirements. This integrated approach equips interns with advanced knowledge and practical experience, preparing them for successful careers in the dynamic field of nutrition and dietetics.

Program Structure:

  • Combined DI/Master's Programs: KADDI partners with esteemed institutions to provide flexible, distance-learning opportunities. Interns can select from the following universities and their respective master's programs:

    • University of Central Arkansas: Master of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences                              with a focus on Nutrition.

    • University of Alabama: Master of Science in Human Nutrition, offering both thesis                                 and non-thesis options.

    • Texas Tech University: Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences, emphasizing research                                and practical application.

Program Duration:

The length of the MSDI program depends on your choice of university, track, and start date. While the timeline varies, most options are designed to be completed within 18 months, allowing interns to balance part-time supervised practice hours with their graduate coursework.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Prospective interns must:

  1. Apply to KADDI: Submit an application through the Dietetic Internship Centralized Application Services (DICAS), indicating interest in the MSDI program.

  2. Apply to Partner University: Complete a separate application for the chosen master's program at one of our affiliated universities. See direct links below of KADDI MSDI partnership programs.

  3. Acceptance: Gain admission to both KADDI and the selected graduate program to enroll in the combined MSDI track.

MSDI INTERNSHIP CALENDAR 

The KADDI MSDI Internship offers flexible program timelines designed to align with your chosen university and degree track. Each calendar outlines the structure and schedule for completing both your supervised practice hours and graduate coursework, providing a clear path to becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Available Calendars:

  • 14-Month Program: Designed for interns in the KADDI program paired exclusively with the University of Alabama.

  • 18-Month Program: Available for interns combining KADDI with either the University of Alabama or the University of Central Arkansas.

  • 24-Month Program: Tailored for interns in the KADDI program working solely with the University of Central Arkansas.
